Last year, my team and I were fortunate enough to attend this event, and it simply blew me away.
I didn’t go hungry with samples of crab cakes, sandwiches, filet mignon trays, and food trucks all around. There were also tables displaying live cooking shows, fresh food served from various cultures and favorite spots in the city and around the country. Dessert stations featured cupcakes, Jamaican pound cakes, cheesecakes, and homemade candies – you name it; they had it. I was very full and thoroughly entertained. Don’t forget the wine and brewery samples. And if you want to have a good time, the dance floor was packed last year, and the DJ really showed us how to turn up at the festival; everyone was enjoying themselves. Someone even celebrated their bachelorette party, fully dressed with a crown and had their bridal party with them. When you feel tired, don’t fret; there were local coffee vendors and espresso samples. This is hands down worth the visit and one of my favorite picks for festivals, so if you are in the area, come; you won’t be disappointed.

This event promises to be even bigger and better than last year, if that can be possible, so a total extravaganza! They will be showcasing the finest wines and delectable dishes that Philadelphia has to offer. So, mark your calendars and prepare your taste buds for an unforgettable experience!
Event Overview:
The Taste of Philly Wine and Food Fest is a celebration of the vibrant food and wine scene in Philadelphia. It brings together renowned chefs, sommeliers, and food enthusiasts from all over the city to indulge in a day of culinary exploration. This year’s event will take place again at the prestigious venue, Valley Forge Casino, on 10/20/23 and 10/21/23.
Friday’s Event will be from 6 PM – 10 PM.
Saturday’s Event will be from 11 AM to 3 PM and then 4 PM to 8 PM.
Wine Tasting:
One of the highlights of the festival is the extensive wine tasting experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a wide selection of wines from local vineyards and wineries. From crisp whites to bold reds, there will be something to suit every palate. Expert sommeliers will be on hand to guide guests through the tasting process, offering insights into the flavors, aromas, and origins of each wine.
The festival showcases a variety of celebrity personalities, including actor KURT RUSSELL, who will be doing a bottle signing and tasting of his Gogi Wines during the Saturday 11 AM – 3 PM session presented by Fine Wine & Good Spirits.

There will be plenty of delectable samples and food tastings. There are over 120 vendors this year!
