Being a child of the 80’s, I grew up with Barbie. You can kind of call me a Barbie expert. Yes, she was one of my first friends. She would listen to me and I would clothe her, brush her hair, and buy her cool houses and pink convertibles in return. She would show me anything was possible and during our playtime we would get lost in hours of laughter and drama, even a little romance with Ken and just dreaming up my perfect future life. I could be anyone I wanted as long as I had Barbie by my side . She was the ultimate inspiration to who I am today. Every Christmas I knew I was going to get a new friend or going to get an amazing outfit for my favorite Barbie. I would literally wake up at 5 AM in excitement, how about you?
